Most companies treat customers like transactions instead of relationships that deepen over time. Escaping this mindset requires a system where strategy, leadership, and execution work as one connected force, building capability that outlasts tenure and business value that compounds over time.
Sandy Hogan, BozQ’s founder and CEO, spent 3 decades as a CRO and GM for global enterprises (Cisco, VMware, Rackspace) and high-growth scale-ups. Across $10B+ P&Ls and dozens of transformations, she observed the same core dilemma. Organizations were sacrificing durability for short-term velocity, spending more time on board prep and forecasting theater than driving customer outcomes.
The strategy was sound. The talent was capable. The system was broken.
Organizations were running high-velocity strategies on low-capacity operating models. Leaders were forced to bridge the gap with heroics, leading to burnout, churn, and the inevitable reset.
Sandy built BozQ to replace the fragility of brute force with the durability of system-led growth.
Our leadership works shoulder-to-shoulder with yours to build the capabilities and disciplines that make growth predictable, ensuring that when we leave, the capacity stays with you. Our partnership is defined by four pillars:
Despite bringing 30+ years of operating experience, we never assume your answer lives in a playbook. We combine deep pattern recognition with the relentless curiosity to uncover the context that is unique to you, solving the specific structural friction holding your growth back.
Every system starts with the customer outcome and works backward. If a process, role, or metric doesn’t improve the customer’s ability to realize value, it doesn’t belong in the system.
Speed is about doing the right things in the right order. We calibrate the sequence of engagement to your organization’s absorptive capacity, ensuring you build the right capability at the right pace to reach velocity without breaking the engine.
Growth dies in ambiguity. We operate with surgical clarity and rigorous standards of excellence. We don’t just design the strategy, we build the specific assets, meetings, and metrics with you so the system runs long after the engagement ends.
Brian Hoard, BozQ’s COO, grew up in Silicon Valley and held his first semiconductor wafer when he was six. He began his career as an electrical engineer at Xilinx. He went on to spend 14 years in management consulting at firms including PRTM and Deloitte, leading practice areas and running large-scale GTM transformations for B2B technology companies.
He then moved back into industry, leading worldwide GTM strategy at VMware during the company’s shift to a solutions-led XaaS model. At Google Cloud, he drove GTM strategy for a multibillion-dollar infrastructure portfolio, aligning product, sales, and support to accelerate deal velocity and drive expansion.
Brian has lived on both sides of the table: as the consultant designing and implementing transformation and as the operator living inside it. For BozQ clients, he brings precision in the build, puts structure around ambiguity, and delivers the operating discipline that makes Customer-for-Life growth a reality.
BozQ is backed by a council of active operators currently shaping the future of SaaS, ecosystems, and enterprise growth. They validate the system against the reality of the market. This is our founding strategic advisory board:
